Avalon Dairy to join Purdy's Chocolates and Freybe in BC Food Processors Hall of Fame
Abbotsford, BC, May 19, 2010 "It gives us great pleasure to announce that Avalon Dairy will be receiving the 2010 Hall of Fame as part of the BC Food Processors Awards", Robin Smith, BCFPA President and Board Chair announced in Vancouver. The award will be presented at FoodProWest 2010 on June 4, 2010.
"The Hall of Fame is the pinnacle of the BC Food Processors Awards," Nico Human, BCFPA CEO added. "Previous recipients of the prestigious award include Freybe in 2008 and Purdy's Chocolates in 2010."
"Recipients for the other awards, namely the Rising Star, Leadership and Energy/Sustainability Awards will be announced during FoodProWest. The awards committee has done its work, and the BCFPA Executive has approved the finalists as follows (shown in alphabetical order):
